Dear Parents and Carers,

First of all, a huge thank to the PE department and all staff who contributed in so many ways to a fantastic Sports Day. We were very lucky with the weather - the sun even came out at times! Every year, the standard gets higher and higher and several QK records were broken this year - well done to Isaac Nkosi and Jamal Jules!

All parents will receive their blue appointment postcard for Progress Review Day on September 8th through the post this week. Please contact the school if you do not receive it and we will be able to tell you your appointment time. All parents / carers MUST attend this important appointment with their child. Please also see the note below about uniform.

We look forward to welcoming back Year 10 next week from their two week Work Experience placements. All students have been visited whilst on their placements and many students have done brilliantly, receiving glowing praise from their employers and representing QK really well. Well done Year 10! Next week they will be giving English Speaking and Listening coursework presentations on their experiences and completing their 'Preparation for Employment' qualification.
