Dear Parents and Carers,

Once again, I must apologise to all parents for the disruption to the school day caused by the severe weather this week. As I said last week, we have tried to minimise the impact on students but sometimes the health and safety of students does mean that the only option is to change the school day. Thank you again to all parents, students and staff for their understanding.

Next Tuesday is the Year 11 Parents' Evening which is compulsory for all parents / carers to attend. As well as receiving final advice from teachers about coursework and exam preparation, you will receive the Mock results and the exam entry forms that have to be signed in order for your child to be entered for their exams.

Thank you to all Year 7 parents who made it through the snow to attend the Year 7 Parents' Evening. Please keep reminding your child about the advice from teachers about how to improve their levels in the different subject areas.

One further slight alteration to normal school timetable is that students will be dismissed very slightly earlier on Monday afternoon at 2.50pm. This is due to a very important staff training event that we are unable to change.

Good luck to all students who are revising for external exams next week - make sure that you use your weekend sensibly!
