Dear Parents and Carers,

A reminder that Year 9 Parents' Evening is on Tuesday 9th March from 4.30pm – 7.00pm. All Year 9 students should have made appointments with their subject teachers over the past week. This is an extremely important Parents' Evening where you will find out about the Options process at QK and the range of courses that are available for your son / daughter.

6f students will all be receiving their Mock Exam results during SPACE next week. It is a really important point for them to consider how well they have done and how much work they need to do before their real exams start in May. Parents will receive these results during Progress Review on 31st March / 1st April.

Channel 4 have been filming at QK today as part of the 'Embarrassing Bodies' series. Students have completed a really fascinating survey about how they perceive themselves and considering the various pressures on them in society today. We look forward to seeing some of them on TV soon – further information about the date to follow.

Can I emphasise how important it is for parents to make sure that they apply in good time for their new Free School Meals. If you are eligible, this is an entitlement that all parents and students should take advantage of.
