Dear Parents and Carers,

The final Progress Review meetings of the year take place on Wednesday 31st March and Thursday 1st April. All parents / carers must attend these meetings with Tutors to discuss their child's progress and achievement. Please make sure that you have returned your reply slip to the tutor. Appointment letters will be sent out at the end of next week. Obviously this is an extremely important meeting for all students; but especially for the parents of Year 11, 12 and 13 students as this is your last occasion to discuss progress and final revision before the external GCSE, AS and A2 exams which start very soon after Easter. Year 12 and Year 13 parents will also receive the results from the Mock exams that students took just after February half-term.

Year 9 students are currently very busy revising in lessons for their Pathway Tests in English, Maths and Science which take place from Monday 29th March to Thursday 1st April. There are also opportunities for them to attend revision sessions after school. As well as encouraging your child to attend these sessions, please make sure that they are revising at home each night so that they achieve their very best in the Pathway Tests.

On Wednesday, all students participated in one of their Enrichment Days where they are able to learn and develop skills in a wider area than curriculum subjects. Different year groups worked well on areas such as the Lionheart Challenge, Study Skills and the importance of fair trade.
