Dear Parents and Carers,

This week has been a short but very busy week at school. As parents will know, students in Year 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 are in the very final stages of their exam preparation in lessons and I am sure that you are making sure that they are revising sensibly at home each night. Good luck to you and revise hard over the weekend!

Year 11 students have only two weeks of school left before they start their study leave. We are all looking forward to saying good-bye to them at the Record of Achievement event in school and I hope to see as many parents there as possible. This is a lovely chance to recognise the achievements of all students during their time at QK. This is followed by the annual Prom at the Marriot Hotel on Friday 21st May where Year 11 students get to celebrate, looking amazing in their suits and glamorous dresses!

May I remind all parents and students that there is a late start on Thursday 13th May with students arriving at 10.45am. This is due to staff training which will focus on how best to support individual students in the classroom.
