Dear Parents and Carers,

The end of another great year at QK! As ever, it has been an interesting and exciting one full one indeed with a huge range of successes – academic / sporting / cultural.

We say goodbye to two of our excellent Middle Leaders Matt Shepherd and Frank Albrecht this year. Both Matt and Frank have made a huge contribution to QK School – initially as teachers but then as committed and talented Heads of Department leading their teams. We wish both of them all our best wishes and know that their new schools will be very lucky to have them. Alan Sawyer is another long serving member of staff leaving this year – one of our excellent site team who is retiring.

We say goodbye to several other staff this summer who are heading for a variety of destinations: new locations around the country, new schools and promotions, career changes and travel. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their contribution to the school:

Alex Dragonetti, Hannah Tongue, Beena Sheth, Andrea Gayle, Andre Artry, Jenette Weinstock, Rachel Robertson, Mirza-Hussain, Lubna Jiad, Lavinia Adams, Lee Olsson, Erica Groom, Sarah Hirst, Matt Sheppard and Frank Albrecht.

We wish them every success.

I look forward to seeing all students in school in September – the new Y7, Y10, 12 and 13 on Monday 6th September and then all students and parents/carers on Tuesday 7th September for your Progress Review and Target-Setting appointment. (All parents except of 6f students should have received their appointment card for this meeting in the post. If not, please call the school).
