Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you to Year 7 parents/carers who attended our coffee morning and coffee evening this week. As this was such a successful event, we are planning similar events in the future. We will keep you informed.

The school will be closed on Monday 14th November for staff training. Year 11 students who are sitting their GSCE maths exam will come to school as normal. They will be dismissed immediately after their exam. Normal registration is at 8.50am for all students on Tuesday 15th November.

We have had confirmation that the major teaching unions and local government employees unions will have a national day of action on Wednesday 30th November. These unions are striking over major changes to their pension rights. QK School will close on that day. Apologies to all parents/carers for any inconvenience this may cause.
