Playground Pals

Who are they? What do they do?

Playground Pals is a scheme QK runs with four of our key primary schools: Essendine, George Eliot, Paddington Green and Wilberforce. Selected Year 9 QK students spend one lunch time a week at the primary schools, getting to know and supporting the students.

Playground Pals enables Year 9 students to learn key management and leadership skills that will help them in their future careers. It also helps improve confidence and communication skills. The scheme also prepares Year 9 students for their Prefecting application at the end of Year 10. Most importantly, Playground Pals shows students how to represent QK and how to act as role models.

If you are enthusiastic and committed to be part of the Playground Pals team, please contact Ms. Williams and ask her for an application form.
