The curriculum for Years 7 to 9 builds on students' past experience and achievements in primary schools and lays a solid foundation for Key Stage 4.

All Key Stage 3 students follow the same broad, balanced curriculum and for much of the time they are taught together in their mixed-ability Tutor Groups.

At the end of Year 9, students take Pathway Tests in Mathematics, Science and English. These tests help determine which GCSE’s / BTEC’s students can take.
