Business Studies BTEC First Diploma
A great course if your GCSEs don't go as well as expected. This will be your main subject and you will receive 4 GCSEs if you are successful. The course covers all the relevant business areas such as Marketing, Customer Service and Finance.

Business Studies BTEC National Award
BTEC Nationals are qualifications that are designed to provide specialist work-related qualifications in a range of sectors. They give learners the knowledge, understanding and skills that they need to prepare them for employment. The Level 3 BTEC National Award in Business consists of four core units plus two specialist units. You will learn about Marketing, Finance but also Business Law and the resources needed to be successful.

You will enjoy this course if you would like to:

Applied Business Studies Single Award with the Academy of Finance
This is the same A level Business course as above with a twist. You will attend a number of exciting events in the business community and work for a real business during your break between Year 12 and 13.

This course allows you to study for 2 Business A levels at the same time. You will have to do double the work and the additional units are extremely exciting, for example, developing a business website or evaluating customer services. You need to be very determined to do this course as it will make Business Studies your main subject at A level.

AS Economics 8EC01 9EC01
Economics is interesting, challenging and can be applied to real world scenarios. It includes an enormous variation of subjects such as maths, history, geography, politics, philosophy and business. A real academic subject. Economics engages students throughout their A levels and offers excellent prospects for studies at university.
