Sixth Form
AS in 1 year or A Level in 2 years
Students build on skills, knowledge and understanding in painting and drawing developed during GCSE but a GCSE Art and Design qualification is not essential. Students are required to present their final artwork and work journals in a whole class presentation. Sketchbook and preparatory studies for each unit are assessed to provide evidence of investigation, experimentation and problem solving.
