Key Stage 3

Students work on three projects each year to produce artwork by direct observation and imaginative. They collect research, develop ideas and complete homework in their Art Workbooks.

Work by artists, designers and craftspeople, past and present, and from Western and other cultures are used to inform and inspire students in their work.

In Year 7 students are introduced to the basic elements of art and design and use a variety of two-dimensional techniques and processes. During Years 8 and 9 they acquire print-making skills and begin to use a variety of materials to create work in three dimensions.
