Key Stage 4

In this two year course students will extend both their practical skills and visual understanding. They will develop personal responses to the 2 coursework themes through their use of a variety of media and processes - including painting, printmaking, 3 dimensional work, clay work, digital art and different drawing techniques. The themes include 'Forms and Structures' and 'The Personal Study'.

Each project progresses through research, development and final piece stage. In order to develop artwork and ideas, students will research work by artists, designers and craft people from the past the present and from Western and other cultures.
