Two one-year Short Courses, which together are equivalent to one GCSE.
In Year 10 students explore issues of Religion and Life from the perspectives of Christianity and Islam.
- Believing in God: what makes some people believe and others lose their faith.
- Matters of Life and Death: abortion, euthanasia, and immortality of the soul.
- Marriage and the Family: changing attitudes, cohabitation and sex outside marriage.
- Social Harmony: gender and racial equality.
Students in Year 11 study Religion in Society for a religion of their choice with, guided but independent research.
