First Year: AS

• Drama and Poetry: 2 hour written paper (40%)
• Pre-1900 Prose: 1 hour written paper (30%)
• Shakespeare in Context: written paper or coursework (30%)

Second Year: A2

AS unites (50%) plus

• Modern Prose: written paper or coursework (15%)
• Poetry and Drama: 2 hour written paper (15%)
• Criticism and Comparison: 2 hour written paper (30%)
