Expressive Arts

The Expressive Arts Faculty provides students with a variety of opportunities to develop their creative potential. All students study art, drama and music during Key Stage 3. Our extensive range of BTEC, GCSE and AS/A2 courses includes Applied Art & Design, Drama, Fine Art, Music, Music Technology and Theatre Studies.

Study at all levels is fun, challenging and deeply satisfying. All our staff are experienced and strongly committed to students' success. Emphasis on performance encourages students to grow in confidence and self awareness. Students are encouraged to play musical instruments, exhibit their art work and take part in drama productions while after school and lunchtime clubs cater for all ages and a wide range of interests.

Students on our courses have the opportunity to pursue their individual creativity, establish life-long skills and interests, and prepare to start a career in the expressive arts. Many go on to study at university or art college or directly enter employment.

Welcome
