Loans

Students may borrow up to 4 books at a time in Years 7-9, up to 6 books in Years 10-11 and up to 8 books in the Sixth Form. Loans are for two weeks but may be renewed.

If you do not return a book by the return date or renew the loan, you will not be allowed to use the Library computers or borrow any more books until you do.

Take books to the desk if you want to borrow them. Remember that Reference books may not be taken out of the Library.

Accelerated Reader

Quintin Kynaston School library uses Accelerated Reader© to help students with their reading. Accelerated Reader helps guide students towards suitable reading books for their ability. Students can then do quizzes on the books they have read, and the school can give certificates and prizes to the students for their efforts.

To keep track of their progress, students and parents can log in to Accelerated Reader.
